Introduction
Welcome to Anomity, an enterprise security platform that gives security teams a single dashboard showing AI agents, MCP servers, IDE extensions, plugins, skills, hooks, CLIs, AI accounts, AI websites, and secrets on their managed employee endpoints, browsers, and connected cloud accounts, with the policy controls to govern them (the “Service”). The Service is offered under the brand “Anomity” and is developed and operated by Deskfirst, Inc. and its subsidiary Deskfirst Ltd (“Anomity”, “Deskfirst” or “we”, “us”, “our”).
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how information about you — a visitor to our website, a person who submits a contact or early-access request, an Authorized User who has been granted access to the Dashboard by an organization that licensed the Service, or an applicant for a position at Anomity (collectively, “you”) — is collected and used by us when we operate as a data controller.
If you are an Authorized User who has been granted access to the Service by an organization that purchased a license under the Anomity Service Agreement pursuant to an executed Order Form (an “Enterprise Customer”), and if your personal data is processed because you are reflected in Telemetry Data collected by the Endpoint Sensor or the Browser Sensor installed on a Managed Device or browser by an Enterprise Customer, or in data from third-party services that the Enterprise Customer connects to the Service, we process your personal data on behalf of that organization (the “Customer”), as described in our Data Processing Addendum, and that organization is the data controller. Please refer to that organization’s privacy notices for information about its processing of your personal data.
You have the right to review the personal information we collect and use about you and the right to request correction of your personal information.
The Service is not directed to users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information or data from children under the age of 18 or knowingly allow minors under the age of 18 to use the Service.
This Policy may be amended from time to time. We will post any change to this Policy on our website at a reasonable time in advance of the effective date of the change, and we will also make efforts to proactively notify you by email of the changes if we have your email address.

What we collect and why
When you submit our website contact, demo, or early-access form
Purposes: Responding to your request, scheduling demos and walkthroughs, qualifying your interest, providing you with information about Anomity, and our business development.
Categories of information processed: Full name, work email address, company name, job title or role, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message or request.
When you (or your organization) register an Authorized User account on the Service
Purposes: Providing you with access to the Dashboard and APIs, product updates, tips, reminders, contacting you regarding administrative issues related to the Service, this Policy, our Terms, support, and maintenance.
Categories of information processed: Contact details such as full name and business email address, and authentication details handled by our identity provider. If you authenticate through your organization’s identity provider (such as a SAML or OIDC SSO provider), we receive your name and business email address from that provider, together with the assertion that you are authorized to access the Service and, where your organization configures it, the groups of which you are a member. You will not be able to opt out of receiving certain administrative messages which are integral to your use (like invitations, billing notices, security alerts).
When your organization subscribes to the Service
Purposes: Providing the Service requested, invoicing, and managing the subscription.
Categories of information processed: Full name, business contact details, and certain billing information and data that you have provided to us or to our third-party payment processors — such as your billing address and an indication of successful billing.
When the Endpoint Sensor transmits Telemetry Data on behalf of your organization
Purposes: Inventorying, classifying, governing, enforcing policies over, and auditing AI tooling on your organization’s Managed Devices, providing the Service to your organization, generating Findings, and surfacing alerts to your organization’s security team.
Categories of information processed: Device identifiers (hostname, OS, OS version, architecture, and a hardware-derived device identifier); the operating-system account names and user-profile paths under which AI tools are configured on the device; configuration metadata about AI tools, MCP servers (including their launch commands and arguments), IDE and browser extensions, plugins, skills, hooks, CLIs, and permission grants found on the device; the AI accounts signed in to AI tools on the device (the email domain and a one-way hash of the email address, with the organization name, plan, and role); AI usage statistics such as token counts, sessions, and the models used; local AI models and, for supported local runtimes, their configured system prompt (secret-redacted and limited to 4 KB); metadata about secrets found in AI-tool configuration files (the pattern name, location, and severity); where your organization enables content scanning of skills and instruction files, the matched lines that triggered a detection (secret-redacted and limited to 200 characters); policy enforcement events, including the redacted command or action that triggered a rule; and change events recording when an AI tool, configuration file, or related artifact was added, modified, or removed on the device.
What we do NOT collect: We do not collect source code, the content of prompts or AI responses, browsing history, credential stores, or the contents of files other than AI-tool configuration files, except for the limited redacted excerpts described above. We do not collect secret values; secrets are redacted on the Managed Device, and neither their values nor hashes of them are transmitted.
When the Service is provided to an Enterprise Customer, we process this Telemetry Data as a processor on behalf of that Customer pursuant to our Data Processing Addendum. The Customer is responsible for the lawfulness of the monitoring of its endpoints, including providing any notices and obtaining any consents required of it under applicable employment, privacy, and surveillance laws.
When the Browser Sensor transmits Telemetry Data on behalf of your organization
Purposes: Detecting and helping prevent the disclosure of secrets and sensitive data to AI chat and coding services, inventorying which AI web services and AI accounts are in use, auditing files uploaded to those services, enforcing your organization’s policies where it enables enforcement, providing the Service to your organization, generating Findings, and surfacing alerts to your organization’s security team. The Browser Sensor is an extension for supported browsers (currently Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Apple Safari) that your organization installs through managed browser or device policy; it operates only on a predefined list of AI web services and on any additional sites your organization adds, and never on other websites. Where your organization enables enforcement, it may block or redact pastes, typed text, and uploads on those services.
Categories of information processed: The name and severity of any detection pattern that matched content pasted or typed into an AI service, the action taken, and a masked fragment of the match showing up to its first eight and last four characters (or, for protected words defined by your organization, the matched word); the AI-service domain on which the activity occurred and the time of visits; the email address of the signed-in browser profile, where the browser makes it available, and the email addresses of AI accounts signed in on those AI services, with sign-in and account-switch events (used to attribute activity to a corporate identity); the browser extensions installed in the browser; metadata about files uploaded to an AI service, consisting of the file name, size, MIME type, a one-way hash of the file’s first 4 KB, and the name of any pattern matched in that portion; and event timestamps.
What we do NOT collect: We do not collect content you typed or pasted that did not match a detection pattern, your conversations, prompts, or the AI service’s responses, the contents of any file you upload (only the metadata described above), cookies, general page contents, or any activity on websites outside the configured AI-service list. Detected values are masked on the device before transmission, so complete secret values never leave the device.
When the Service is provided to an Enterprise Customer, we process this Telemetry Data as a processor on behalf of that Customer pursuant to our Data Processing Addendum. The Customer is responsible for the lawfulness of the monitoring of its endpoints and browsers, including providing any notices and obtaining any consents required of it under applicable employment, privacy, and surveillance laws.
When your organization connects third-party services to the Service
Purposes: Discovering AI applications, AI agent identities, application grants, and file-sharing exposure in the accounts your organization connects (such as its identity provider, collaboration suite, code-hosting service, cloud AI services, and AI vendor administration consoles), and sending alerts, tickets, and events to the messaging, ticketing, and SIEM tools your organization chooses.
Categories of information processed: Depending on the services connected and the features enabled, directory and account information (such as names, email addresses, group memberships, and roles), application grants and their permissions, AI agent and identity configuration, file-sharing metadata (such as file names, owners, and recipients, but not file contents), usage summaries, and administrative settings. We process this information as a processor on behalf of the Customer pursuant to our Data Processing Addendum.
When you use the AI features of the Service
Purposes: Answering questions you ask the in-product AI assistant, generating remediation suggestions, and drafting policies you request.
Categories of information processed: Your request and the Customer Data relevant to it (such as Findings, inventory, and device details), which we send to a large language model hosted by our cloud provider, Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock). We do not store AI assistant conversations on our servers after the session, and neither we nor our model provider use this data to train AI models.
Contacting us with an inquiry through our email or online contact form
Purposes: Responding to your inquiry, our business development.
Categories of information processed: Company name, your email address, the subject of your inquiry, and the text of your message.
When you send us product feedback
Purposes: Responding to your feedback, our business development, and improving the Service.
Categories of information processed: Email address, full name, and the feedback.
When you use the Dashboard (cloud audit trail and monitoring)
Purposes: Providing the Service, security monitoring, troubleshooting, customer support, and producing the audit trail of cloud admin actions made available to your organization.
Categories of information processed: Information such as which Findings or pages you accessed, which policies you edited, role and permission changes you performed, timestamps, and the IP address from which you accessed the Service. We use an application monitoring service (Datadog) to measure the performance of the Dashboard and diagnose errors, which may include recordings of Dashboard sessions.
Use of cookies & analytics tools on the website
Purposes: Facilitating Service features that you specifically requested; analyzing website usage to evaluate and improve performance; improving user experience on our website.
Categories of information processed: IP address from which you access the website, time and date of access, type of device and browser used, language used, links clicked via a mouse or a touch screen, and actions taken while using the website.
Examples of third parties involved: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC), and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), which records how visitors interact with our website pages.
Business-visitor identification on the website
Purposes: Identifying the companies, and where available the individual professional visitors, that browse our marketing website, so that our team can follow up with organizations showing interest in Anomity. This is visitor identification for business development, and it is separate from the aggregate analytics described above.
Categories of information processed: IP address and the network or organization it resolves to, pages viewed on our website, time and date of access, referring source, and device and browser characteristics. Where our providers are able to resolve a visit to an identified professional, we may also receive that person's name, professional profile information such as job title, employer and LinkedIn profile, and business contact details. Our providers derive this from their own data sources rather than from anything you submit to us, and they store identifiers in your browser (cookies or local storage) so they can recognise return visits. They may also record how you interact with our pages, such as clicks and scrolling, and the messages you send if you use a chat on our website.
Examples of third parties involved: RB2B (Retention.com, Inc.) and Warmly (Warmly, Inc.). Identification of individual visitors applies only where our providers can resolve a visit, which in practice means mainly visitors in the United States; identification of the visitor's company can apply to any visit. This applies to our marketing website only and never to the Service, the Dashboard, or any Telemetry Data. If you would rather not be identified this way, you can opt out with each provider.
Job Applications
Purposes: Handling applications for a position at Anomity. Information about applicants will be kept private and will only be used for internal recruitment purposes, including identifying applicants, evaluating their applications, making hiring and employment decisions, performing background checks on applicants, and contacting them via telephone or in writing.
Categories of information processed: CVs and contact information.
Submitting your information is not mandatory. You do not have a legal obligation to provide the information that we request. However, if you choose not to provide this information to us, we may not be able to process your feedback and content, respond to your inquiry, or grant you access to some of our Service functionalities.
YOU ARE SOLELY LIABLE FOR PROTECTING THIRD PARTIES’ AND YOUR OWN PRIVACY, AND FOR OBTAINING THE PRIOR CONSENT OF INDIVIDUALS WHOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION IS REFLECTED IN THE TELEMETRY DATA OR OTHER CONTENT YOUR ORGANIZATION SUBMITS TO THE SERVICE. WE WILL NOT BEAR LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MIGHT INCUR TO YOU OR TO THIRD PARTIES AS A RESULT OF THE PUBLICATION, COLLECTION, OR USE OF SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION BY YOUR ORGANIZATION.
Methods and sources for collecting your personal information

Data retention and security
We retain your information for as long as needed to operate the Service, and thereafter as needed for record-keeping matters.
We will retain your information for as long as needed to operate the Service. Thereafter, we will still retain your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, establish and defend legal claims, and enforce our agreements. The overall period of retention is approximately seven (7) years for contractual and accounting records.
Where we process Telemetry Data and audit-trail entries on behalf of an Enterprise Customer, the audit trail, policy enforcement events, and usage samples are retained for ninety (90) days, other Telemetry Data is retained during the subscription term, and Customer data is deleted after the subscription ends as set out in the Anomity Service Agreement.
Anomity may retain the information provided by job applicants even after the position has been filled or closed so that we can re-consider them for other employment opportunities, or, if an applicant is hired, for additional employment or business purposes. If you previously submitted your job application information to us, and now wish to access it, update it, or have it deleted (if we still have it), please contact us at [email protected].
We implement measures to secure your information.
We implement measures to reduce the risks of damage, loss of information, and unauthorized access or use of information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, on-endpoint redaction of secrets so that secret values never leave the Managed Device, logical tenant isolation at the query layer, per-device Sensor credentials hashed at rest using bcrypt, and single sign-on via the Customer’s identity provider where configured, as further detailed in the Anomity Trust Center — https://trust.anomity.ai. Deskfirst, Inc. holds a SOC 2 Type II report, and a new report for the Anomity platform is currently in its SOC 2 Type II observation period. However, these measures do not provide absolute information security. Therefore, although efforts are made to secure your personal information, there is no guarantee that it will be immune from information security risks.
